Best AI chatbots for home builders in 2026: an honest comparison

Eight AI chatbots and AI sales assistants that builders are choosing between, checked against each vendor's own website: what they actually do, whether they book tours or only request them, which CRMs they name, whether they speak Spanish, and what they charge when they say.

Disclosure: we make one of these tools, the REGS AI Sales Assistant. We've tried to describe every product, ours included, with facts you can verify on the vendor's own site. Sources are listed under each one. If something is out of date, email santiago@grupoenroke.com and we'll fix it.

The short answer

Which one fits which builder

  • Large production builder, wants it fully managed across web chat, text and phone, with humans behind the AI: Verse.ai (which now includes Atlas, formerly AtlasRTX).
  • Thousands of old leads nobody calls: Jome, an AI that calls, texts and emails aged leads and books tours into your calendar.
  • Mid-size production builder that also wants warranty requests triaged: BuilderChat.
  • Condo or new-development seller already on the Edgewise CRM: Edgewise Eva.
  • Want a website assistant with a published price and a free trial: REGS by Enroke, free for 30 days on one community, then $750/month.
  • Selling mostly through agents, or want an AI caller priced by usage: Structurely.
  • Small custom builder, do-it-yourself budget: a general website chatbot like Hyperleap, from $40/month.

Also checked and left out: New Home Star sells human online sales staff (plus an internal AI tool for its staff), not a buyer-facing chatbot. OpenHouse.ai now focuses on analytics. Lasso's "Ally" and Digs' "AskDigs" are assistants for your team, not for buyers.

The details

Each tool, in plain terms

Verse.ai (includes Atlas)

Atlas (formerly AtlasRTX) was acquired by NiCE in 2022 and merged under the Verse brand in May 2026; atlasrtx.com now redirects to verse.ai.

What it is
A managed AI platform across web chat, SMS and voice with live transfer, plus a human concierge service behind the AI. Qualifies on credit score, budget and timeline, and books appointments.
Named builder customers
D.R. Horton, KB Home, Mattamy, Smith-Douglas, Highland Homes, CBH Homes and others.
Pricing
Starter, Professional and Enterprise tiers, all "contact us."
Best for: large production builders that want a fully managed, multi-channel service.

Jome AI

ai.jome.com. Jome.com itself is a new-home marketplace for buyers.

What it is
An AI that follows up on leads by phone call, text and email, including leads that are 30, 60 or 180+ days old, and books ready buyers into your team's calendar. Says it works from live inventory: specs, pricing, lots and move-in dates.
CRMs named
HubSpot, Salesforce, Lasso, Sales Simplicity, Anewgo, Pipedrive, Hyphen and others.
Pricing
Not published. "Live in 14 days."
Best for: builders sitting on a large database of aged leads who want outbound calls and texts that book tours.

BuilderChat

builderchat.us, based in Edmonton, Canada.

What it is
AI across website chat, SMS and email (voice on the top tier), plus self-guided tours and warranty/service triage. Tiers for custom, mid-volume and national builders; says it needs about 3,500+ unique monthly visitors to pay off.
CRMs named
HubSpot, Lasso, Salesforce, HomeFiniti, Hyphen/BuildPro, Buildertrend.
Pricing
Tiers say "custom pricing"; the FAQ mentions an $11K entry tier with an $8,000 setup fee and a paid 6-month pilot on the $27K tier. Annual contracts, no free trial. Live in 10–20 business days.
Best for: mid-size production builders that want web chat plus warranty triage.

Edgewise Eva

edgewise.io/eva

What it is
An AI sales agent built into the Edgewise CRM for new-development sales. Qualifies and nurtures on web, SMS and email and hands off to a human with a summary.
Named customers
Mostly condo and multifamily developers (Crescent Heights, Intracorp and others).
Pricing
Not published.
Best for: teams already on, or moving to, the Edgewise CRM.

REGS AI Sales Assistant (Enroke)

Ours. Described with the same rules as the others.

What it is
An AI assistant on your website that answers buyers 24/7 in English or Spanish, only from information you approve. It never estimates prices or availability, learns what the buyer needs, takes their contact details and preferred tour time, and emails the lead to your sales team, who confirm the tour.
What it doesn't do (yet)
No voice calls or outbound texting, and it doesn't write tours into your calendar by itself. CRM connection comes with the paid plan.
Pricing
Free for 30 days on one community, then $750/month (up to 2 communities) or $7,500/year prepaid. No setup fee, month-to-month.
Best for: builders who want to see it working on their own site before paying anything.

Structurely

structurely.com

What it is
AI voice (inbound and outbound), SMS and email with live transfer and appointment scheduling. Built mainly for real estate and mortgage teams; its use-case list (September 2026) includes real estate, mortgage and home improvement, not home builders. Acquired by CapStone Holdings in January 2026.
Pricing
Usage is published (voice from $0.07/minute, SMS $0.02, AI email $0.02) on top of a platform fee that isn't published.
Best for: builders selling mainly through agents, or who want a usage-priced AI caller.

Hyperleap AI

A general website chatbot, not builder-specific.

What it is
Website, WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger chat that answers from your website, PDFs and price list, and shares a Calendly or Cal.com link for the buyer to book. Claims 100+ languages.
Pricing
$40, $100 or $200/month self-serve, 7-day trial.
Best for: small custom builders who'll set it up themselves.

CEA Marketing Builder Studio

An agency offering, not standalone software.

What it is
Seven AI agents run by the agency, including a 24/7 website "lead qualifier" that schedules model-home tours, plus text and email follow-up and lot availability sync.
Pricing
Not published. "30 days or less" to set up.
Best for: builders who want an agency to run AI chat as part of their marketing.
How to choose

Six questions to ask any vendor

These are the questions that separate the tools above. Ask them on the first call.

  1. Where do my buyers talk to it? Website chat, text, phone or all three. Web chat catches buyers on your site; calls and texts reach leads who already left.
  2. Does it book the tour, or request it? Booking straight into a calendar is faster; a request your team confirms avoids double-booked models.
  3. What stops it from inventing a price? Ask what happens when a buyer asks something your site doesn't answer.
  4. Which CRM does it write to, on day one? Lasso, Sales Simplicity, HubSpot and Salesforce are the common ones for builders.
  5. Does it answer in Spanish? Few vendors say so on their sites.
  6. What does it cost, and for how long am I committed? Setup fees, annual contracts and "contact us" pricing are common. Ask for a trial on one community.
Structurely alternatives for builders

When a real-estate AI isn't the right fit

Structurely is strong at calling and texting leads and is priced on usage, which suits agents and brokerages. A builder's buyers ask different questions: which community, which plan fits which lot, what's included, when it's ready. If most of your leads start on your website, a builder-specific assistant that knows your communities and plans usually answers them better.

Speed to lead

Why builders are adding AI at all

Buyers browse at night and on weekends, when most sales teams are off. The builder who answers first usually gets the tour. Every tool above is, one way or another, a way to answer in seconds instead of on Monday morning, and to hand your team a lead that's ready for a call.

FAQ

Common questions

What is the best AI chatbot for home builders?

It depends on the builder. See "the short answer" above: Verse.ai for large, fully managed programs; Jome for aged leads; BuilderChat for mid-size builders that also want warranty triage; REGS by Enroke to try a website assistant free before paying; Hyperleap for do-it-yourself budgets.

How much does an AI chatbot for a home builder cost?

Most builder-specific vendors don't publish prices. Of those we checked: REGS is $0 for 30 days then $750/month; BuilderChat's FAQ mentions an $11K entry tier with an $8,000 setup fee; Structurely publishes usage rates plus an unpublished platform fee; Hyperleap starts at $40/month. Verse.ai, Jome and Edgewise are quote-based.

Does an AI chatbot replace an online sales counselor?

No. The good ones cover the hours your OSC is off and hand interested buyers to them with the conversation. New Home Star, for instance, sells human online sales staff rather than an AI chatbot.

Can I see one working on my own website first?

Yes. Paste your website at demo.realestategrowthsystem.com and you'll get a private REGS demo built from your communities, plans and prices in a few minutes.
